Support a Program that Makes a Difference in a Student's Life
Cal Poly is focused on supporting the next generation of globally minded and socially conscious leaders who are Ready Day One for the workforce and to contribute positively to their communities.
Student Affairs accomplishes this by creating diverse out-of-classroom experiences that complement academic disciplines. Through Learn by Doing opportunities and student-centered programs, we empower students to explore their personal identities, values, skills and purpose during a period of tremendous personal and professional growth. Help support our students by giving today!
Cal Poly Cares Fund Matching Challenge:
Every dollar you give to Cal Poly Cares will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $25,000 — DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT
Cal Poly Cares is a program that addresses students' unexpected, urgent needs and provides immediate monetary assistance.
Giving Priorities:
Cal Poly Food Pantry — GIVE NOW
Since 2014, the Cal Poly Food Pantry has supported students facing food insecurity by providing free access to nutritious food and essentials. With 39% of students reporting food insecurity and an average of 4,000 student visits each week, the need continues to grow. Your gift to the Food Pantry Fund helps ensure no student has to worry about their next meal.
Rose Float — GIVE NOW
The Cal Poly Rose Float program is a proud symbol of the university’s Learn by Doing tradition. On January 1, 2026, our 77th entry, “Jungle Jumpstart,” traveled down Colorado Boulevard in the 137th Rose Parade and, for the first time in program history, earned the prestigious Sweepstakes Trophy — the parade’s highest honor. Your gift directly supports the students who bring this achievement to life, funding meals during long build days, safety gear and coveralls, fresh flowers and structural materials, and essential travel between campuses throughout the year.
Professional Development Fund — GIVE NOW
The fund awards up to $2,500 in scholarships to eligible students to support career exploration, including conference and seminar travel, attending scholarly seminars or symposiums, participating in research initiatives with faculty and many other extracurricular opportunities. These experiences open doors and define futures — but funding has now been exhausted. Help reopen the fund and invest directly in a student’s future.
