Support a program that makes a difference in a student's life
Cal Poly is focused on supporting the next generation of globally minded and socially conscious leaders who are Ready Day One for the workforce and contribute positively to their communities.
Student Affairs accomplishes this by creating diverse out-of-classroom experiences that complement academic disciplines. Through Learn by Doing opportunities and student-centered programs, we empower students to explore their personal identities, values, skills and purpose during a period of tremendous personal and professional growth. Help support our students by giving today!
Giving Priorities:
Empowering Student Development and Belonging:
We strive to support the next generation of global leaders by providing them with a world-class education and enriching out-of-classroom experiences.
Supporting Basic Needs:
More students are using our basic needs services and support than ever before, including Cal Poly Cares emergency grants and the Cal Poly Food Pantry. Last year more than 61,000 students visited the Food Pantry. We expect to reach 100,000 visits by June — that's more than 50% of the student population. Your support helps us keep the shelves stocked so all students make progress toward graduation.
Expanding Opportunities to Student Scholarships:
Scholarships help minimize the financial impacts and support a variety of opportunities like leadership councils, conferences, study abroad and other needs. Your support creates new opportunities for students to access high-impact programs and experiences.
Cal Poly Cares Challenge:
Unlock Challenge: When we collectively give $25,000 to the new Cal Poly Cares endowment, it will unlock an additional $50,000, tripling your gift! Triple Your Gift
Cal Poly Cares is a program that addresses students' unexpected, urgent needs and provides immediate monetary assistance. Entirely funded by donors, Cal Poly Cares provides critical assistance to students navigating crisis situations, such as the loss of a parent, natural disasters like the LA Fires, homelessness, and basic needs insecurity.
An anonymous Cal Poly Parent has generously donated $50,000 to create a Cal Poly Cares endowment. Your gift will grow over time, ensuring future students will always have the help they need.
