Architecture & Environmental Design (CAED)

Cal Poly's College of Architecture and Environmental Design is where creative students strengthen social equity, further collaboration and pursue opportunities to make a difference. As the leading cross-disciplinary college focused on the built environment, we empower our students to Learn by Doing and lead by practice.

We aspire to harness the power of our CAED community to transform and energize our Learn by Doing home. Through this campaign and with your support, every student can freely explore and fearlessly envision the future of the built environment.


GIVING PRIORITIES

  • Foster collaboration that inspires future innovators through new interdisciplinary education opportunities such as the built environments degree, heavy civil minor, real estate education initiative and teacher-scholar program.


  • Create a home that supports student success through 100 Learn by Doing on-campus jobs, scholarships, diversity and inclusivity activities, competitions and showcases.


  • Empower students to harness technology and lead by practice through studios and laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art tools, software and virtual reality capabilities; community service experiences and off-campus exhibitions and experiences.
