Giving Priorities:
- Student Shop Techs: Our student shop techs are at the heart of Learn by Doing. This year, Cal Poly machine shops are employing more student shop techs than ever before, and the demand continues to soar. Shop techs provide safety training for over 1,000 new users each year from any major on campus, a number that has grown with enrollment. You can help expand this valuable opportunity for students. As we center on the Learn by Doing experience and our enrollment continues to grow, the demand for shop tech staffing has increased. Donations from alumni and industry allow us to keep this program and our shops running. Your support is vital.
