Student Affairs

Support a program that makes a difference in a student's life.

Cal Poly is focused on supporting the next generation of globally minded and socially conscious leaders who are Ready Day One for the workforce and contribute positively to their communities.

Student Affairs accomplishes this by creating diverse out-of-classroom experiences that complement academic disciplines. Through Learn by Doing opportunities and student-centered programs, we empower students to explore their personal identities, values, skills and purpose during a period of tremendous personal and professional growth. Help support our students by giving today!

Giving Priorities:

  • Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
    • We strive to support the next generation of courageous leaders and create safe and inclusive spaces and services for students from all identities and backgrounds to grow and thrive.
  • Basic Needs
    • Over the years, and especially post-pandemic, more students are utilizing our basic needs services and support than ever before. Through Cal Poly Cares emergency grants and services such as the Food Pantry, we seek to ensure that all students have access to the resources needed to focus on well-being, education and success at Cal Poly.
  • Student Scholarships
    • Participating in a leadership council, conference or program can have profound impacts on a student’s trajectory. That’s why we want to make sure that all Mustangs have access to high-impact programs and experiences. Offering scholarships creates pathways for students to participate in co-curricular activities.
